(May 2009) – Selecting paint from over 1000 colors in most paint decks has always been terrifying. Recently Cindy Reed, of Lucinda’s Interior located in Lynn, learned the secrets to reduce a paint deck from 1000 to 1 in minutes at recently completed color certification training, “Color with No Regrets”. This earned her the distinction of becoming a Color with No Regrets Certified Consultant, (CNRCC). This workshop based on the patent pending Color with No regrets system has been endorsed and certified by leading industry organizations such as The Society of Decorating Professionals, www.TheSDP.com, Custom Home Furnishings Academy, www.chfacademy.com and Window Fashions, a Division of Grace McNamara, Inc. “Even after 30 years in the business” stated Margie Nance, President of CHF Drapery and Design Academy, “I have never seen anything like this system. It is the most amazing approach to color selection that I have ever experienced.”
Reed attended the “Color with No Regrets” Professional Workshop via a 6 week Webinar. The continuing education class, developed by professionals for professionals, was created and lead by JoAnne Lenart-Weary, nationally-renowned founder of One Day Decorating and The Decorating Academy. “As an industry leader”, says JoAnne, “I knew the importance of a color system that was fool proof when decorating a home. We are proud of this patent pending system that we have created.” JoAnne’s work has been featured in many magazines, HGTV and on a weekly segment for her local ABC affiliate.
“As an interior decorating professional, I have a responsibility to my clients to keep current on trends happening within the industry”, said Cindy. “One of the top needs I’ve found in East Central Indiana and West Central Ohio is for color consultations. People are intimidated by color but are desperate to have it in their homes. This training will help me bring the latest techniques and trends happening in the color industry to my clients.” Reed stated.
